What is Micropropagation?

Micropropagation is an advanced plant propagation technique that uses tissue culture to produce large numbers of genetically identical, disease-free plants from a single mother plant.

Unlike traditional propagation methods, tissue culture operates in a sterile laboratory environment where meristematic tissue (the growing tip) is carefully extracted and cultured on specialized nutrient media. This process eliminates viruses, bacteria, and fungi that can be transmitted through conventional vegetative propagation.

The result is plant material that is genetically pure, pathogen-free, and consistently performs to the variety's full genetic potential, giving commercial growers confidence in crop uniformity and yield.

Our Process

From Lab to Field

Every plant goes through our rigorous six-stage process before certification and delivery.

Mother Plant Selection

Elite mother plants are selected based on genetic purity, vigor, and disease-free certification. Each candidate undergoes DNA fingerprinting to verify varietal identity.

Sterilization & Initiation

Meristem tips are extracted under aseptic conditions and placed on nutrient media in our Class 100 cleanroom environment, eliminating all pathogens from the tissue.

Multiplication

Plantlets are multiplied through successive subcultures in controlled growth chambers with precise temperature, humidity, and photoperiod management.

Rooting & Hardening

Rooted plantlets are gradually acclimated to ambient conditions in our hardening greenhouses, building strength for field transplanting.

Quality Testing

Every batch undergoes PCR pathogen testing, visual inspection, and vigor assessment before certification and release to commercial growers.

Certified Delivery

Plants are packed under cold-chain protocols and shipped with full traceability documentation, certified virus-free for immediate transplanting.
